Seamus Kenney - Cofounder and ConductorSeamus Kenney is a natural at bringing out the singing passions of the young and the young-at-heart. Indyweek described him as “...part conductor, part music teacher, part emcee, part stand-up comic.” He started singing in his early teens and went on to study Vocal Music Education at Eastman School of Music in Rochester NY. He put off teaching while pursuing a career in pop music as the singer and songwriter for rock band SNMNMNM. He spent the better part of 6 years touring the U.S. and building a cult-like fan baase. His songs, like “My Defense” and “Misfit Out of Time” can be found on YouTube, iTunes and Spotify. Kerri Lockwood - Cofounder and Artistic DirectorKerri Lockwood is the cofounder and artistic director for Flash Chorus. She studied design at University of St Francis in Indiana. She is a full-time public school teacher and teaches K-5 visual art at Southwest Elementary School for Durham Public Schools.

Dave Yarwood - Band Leader & AccompanistDave Yarwood has been the guitarist and bandleader for Flash Chorus since its founding. Besides the guitar, he is proficient at the theremin and a number of other instruments. Dave is also in an alt-pop band called Exit Mice, and he is the creator of a music composition programming language called Alda. By day, he is a software engineer at the Durham-based ad-tech company Adzerk.

Kaitlin Grady- CelloKaitlin Grady is a classically-trained cellist who performs with the Carolina String Society, Petals String Duo, alt-bluegrass band New Reveille, and as a live + recorded session musician. She studied French and International Studies at UNC-Chapel Hill and works by day at Duke University as a Development Research Analyst. Kaitlin is also passionate about animal advocacy, serving as a District Leader with the Humane Society of the United States and organizing monthly vegan meetups in the Triangle. Victoria Nelson - Drumset / Percussion
Victoria Nelson is a percussionist and educator located in Raleigh, NC. Classically trained, she currently serves as the principal percussionist with the Fayetteville and Durham Symphonies, and the principal timpanist with the Raleigh Symphony. Victoria can frequently be seen performing with other orchestras in the state including the North Carolina Symphony, Tar River Orchestra, and Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle. Outside of the symphonic stage, Victoria is a founding member of the contemporary music ensemble earspace, as well as the drummer for Durham Flash Chorus. When not performing, Victoria is teaching up and coming percussionists in her private studio, and working with groups of young musicians at Kidznotes. Melvin Peña - Social Media / PublicityMelvin is a writer, editor, artist, SEO specialist, content marketer, and social media manager. He taught English at Notre Dame and Northwestern before leaving academia to resettle in the Triangle. He's published art, poetry, literary criticism, and is a regular contributor to the "Dogster" magazine and website.
